Osteopathy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Osteopathy is a system of diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of medical conditions. It works with the structure and function of the body, and is based on the principle that the wellbeing of an individual depends on the skeleton, muscles, ligaments and connective tissues functioning smoothly together. Osteopaths look beyond conditions and take a holistic approach to a patient, using manual techniques to restore, maintain and support health and wellbeing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paediatric Osteopathy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As described by the Foundation for Paediatric Osteopathy, this is the specialism of using gentle osteopathic techniques specifically for treating babies, children, teens and perinatal mums. We don\u2019t use any single osteopathic technique, but draw on the relevant approaches that are gentle enough for babies and children, providing treatment that\u2019s as individual as the patient. In young patients, the methods used are nearly always very gentle, but nonetheless powerful, requiring specialist skill and knowledge.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Roselle initially worked as a dance artist prior to becoming an osteopath. She graduated from the European School of Osteopathy. She went on to complete the Diploma in Paediatric Osteopathy at the Osteopathic Centre for Children, where she currently works as a Senior Osteopath. She also works at several clinics in east London.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Roselle is particularly interested in how the body functions in the context of its lived history. Her treatment approach aims to understand why the body may be holding on to stresses or strains, and how best to support a change to enable more wiggle room for managing everyday life!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Access to the Grassroots Centre is through Memorial Park. There is a small car park at the back of the building which can be accessed from Memorial Avenue. However it does get busy and a space is not guaranteed.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n
